What is happening is you're creating path-based permissions that work
like you want but then you also use the "Commit/View" permission
checked in the "Source Code Permissions" section above it for "All
repositories". These two things collide. The best thing is if you
want to use path-based permissions, do not check anything in the
"Source Code Permissions" section above. Give that a shot and let me
know what happens.

I am misunderstanding something...

I *thought* I had configured my project so that developers could view anything in the repository, but could only commit below the <top folder>/branches folder. Please see attached screenshots for reference.

However, authenticating on the client side as user "Developer", I can still make commits to the trunk.

Am I doing something wrong or misunderstanding how the feature works?
