This appears to be a forum about the Subversion API. I do not recall a
post ever coming into this forum, but your question is definitely right
for this forum. It also makes it hard to know the context of your
question. I point you to this page so that you can choose the correct
forum:

      <title>Installing Subversion 1.6.17 Help</title>
      <link>http://forums.open.collab.net/ds/viewMessage.do?dsMessageId=473461&amp;dsForumId=735</link>
<description>I am trying to install subversion 1.6.17 on my mac, for use with Psychtoolbox on Matlab. Unfortunately, I am unable to successfully install Subversion. The installation stops at 'Select a Destination - How do you want to install this software?' At this point I am no longer able to proceed with the installation :(

I am hoping that someone might be able to help me with this problem?? I'd be really grateful for any suggestions why this is occurring or how I can amend this?

Thank you!</description>

When you re-post you need to include more details. What have you done in
setting up the server and what error are you getting in TortoiseSVN.

The TortoiseSVN help has step by step instructions on setting up a server on
Windows.

Do you have to go through a proxy? This error often happens when a proxy
does not allow the WebDAV HTTP commands to pass through.

You could also see if the Apache error.log has anything in it. If it does,
then a proxy is not the problem. Maybe an incorrect URL?
